State park offers free evergreen hike | Events
The South Mountains State Park is offering an evergreen hike this weekend.
Hikers can learn about some of the many plant species that stay green throughout the year, while taking a leisurely one-mile walk along the Hemlock Trail.
Nature enthusiasts can join the hike at the Jacob Fork Parking Area of the South Mountains State Park, located at 3001 South Mountain Park in Connelly Springs, Saturday January 26, at 2 p.m.
The cost is free and the park is open to the public.
